Charles L. Bakes - Chairman
Charles L. Bakes founded Next Access Technologies in 2007 and serves as its chairman and CEO. He brings to the business a wealth of experience as a successful entrepreneur in the telecommunications industry. In 1990 Mr. Bakes co-founded International Telecommunication Data Systems, Inc and served as chairman, CEO and director of sales. In 1996 he helped guide ITDS through a public offering of its stock, and a year later, he spearheaded the purchase of a competitor, Bank of Illinois. This acquisition catapulted ITDS to become one of the largest service bureau companies in the U.S., providing billing and customer service software to wireless carriers. From 1969-1988 Mr. Bakes led Life Plans Unlimited, Inc., -- which he co-founded -- to become one of the largest regional life insurance brokerage agencies in the U.S. From 1959 to 1969, he served as New England sales director of a large eastern insurance company involved in the brokerage life insurance business. Mr. Bakes has served on numerous boards and been active in charitable work for many years. One of his passions is managing his family foundation, benefiting the disadvantaged, which he and his late wife formed in 2001.
Jack Loop - COO
As COO of Next Access Technologies, Mr. Loop is responsible for overall operations as well as new business development. He was a founder of several start-up companies including John Galt Computer Corporation which was sold to Computerland and The HomeCard Company a rewards based marketing platform. Mr. Loop worked in sales and marketing for Cellular One, an early wireless carrier, and Interdyne, manufacturer of hardware products for the PC aftermarket. He has developed performance-based marketing and sales strategies for more than 25 years for companies in the industrial manufacturing, technology, and consumer products industries. His clients have included Kate Spade, Spencer Stuart, Public Storage, TopCoder, Gap, Macy's, Rapid Rack Industries, Desiccare, Blyth and Onward Healthcare. Mr. Loop’s areas of experience and expertise include: new product and strategic partnership development, e-commerce, database marketing, telemarketing and advertising.
Bernard L. Pasierb – Vice President
Mr. Pasierb joined Next Access in late 2008. bringing nearly 30 years of senior management experience building and directing financial service companies including two start-ups he helped become two of the make 50th largest issuers in the bank credit card industry. Most recently he co-founded and served as CEO of Clout Financial Services, a technology-based consumer credit card company sold to Bank of America in 2007. Previously, he founded 1st Financial Bank USA and was CEO of Portfolio information Corporation, a risk management and marketing services company. He holds an MBA from the University of Utah and a BS from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Mary-Margaret Weber – General Manager
Ms. Weber came to Next Access with expertise in banking, general management, new business development, recruitment, marketing and sales, and as an entrepreneur. She previously served JP Morgan Chase as a Vice President, marketing director and division executive, There, she was responsible for 34 bank branches and had broad-based responsibilities including: ethnic marketing, marketing to women, and new business development. She currently serves as a director and, marketing chairman at The Bank of Fairfield.
